Random Thoughts of Beauty
OFFLINE

Some believe that you could look into someones eyes and gain an understanding of their lives in regards to pain, joy, restlessness, ambitions, etc. Even if miniscule, that slight view of their emotions can gain you endless amounts of information. Are they sincere? Do they hurt? Are they judgemental or even scared to gaze back into yours? Instantly it forces you to question your actions towards them or even cause you to rethink the words you choose to say to them. Are you even able to process it?

It's more than a mere window- I see it like a book. A window you look through, viewing the image you see, either in admiration, awe, or possibley  disgust and disgrace. With a book, you read the words, examining line by line, but not necessarily grasping the complexity of the thoughts and ideas found in every line. You may be frustrated, confused by how complicated the words are woven into every sentence. What are they trying to say- or hide for that matter? Infatuation consumes your own thoughts as you attempt to disect theirs.

This is what I see. This is how I feel. It's sad and unsettling to know that when most people look into another's eyes, they are only attracted to whether or not they're "pretty". I like to consider true beauty to be found in the understanding and acceptance of another's own life. It hurts when those close to you are quick to pass judgement simply after scoping you out from head to toe. Wouldn't it be nice if someone spent the time reading deep into your eyes?
